Princess Fairytale Hall is an excellent location to meet classic Disney princesses during your Walt Disney World vacation. Below, we’ll discuss which princesses meet at this location regularly and when you might find a visiting princess.
The four princesses that meet at Princess Fairytale Hall are:
- Cinderella
- Elena
- Rapunzel
- Tiana
Occasionally, you might see a visiting princess take the place of one of the above-listed princess meets. For instance, we visited one morning when Ariel filled in for Rapunzel. However, this rarely happens, and most days, you’ll be able to meet each of the princesses mentioned above.

Update: Princess Fairytale Hall formerly had a Lightning Lane queue next to the standby line. At the time of this update, the Lightning Lane selections for character meet-and-greets are not available. But we would not be surprised if we saw them return in the future.
Princess Fairytale Hall is located directly behind Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom. It is across the walkway from Prince Charming Regal Carrousel. This attraction has two sides. Each side has a sign that indicates the princesses who meet there and their estimated wait time.
Cinderella and Elena’s queue is on the right-hand side of Princess Fairytale Hall.
Princess Fairytale Hall is open daily between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. You can check the exact times for this attraction on the My Disney Experience app on the day of your visit.
We went through both standby lines for this visit to meet the princesses. Upon arrival, both sides had a 35-minute wait posted. So I joined the line on the right to meet Cinderella and Elena first. No one was waiting in the outdoor portion of the queue. If the line is so long it extends this far outside, I would skip it and return later.
Unfortunately, the line inside was pretty full.
Across the way, I could see that most of the queue for Rapunzel and Tiana was empty. This also indicated that the wait times sign had not been updated outside. Remember, both signs had a posted wait time of 35 minutes.
Inside Princess Fairytale Hall, you’ll feel like you stepped into a castle. The hall is dimly lit and has a royal feel.
Portraits of the Disney princesses hang on the walls of the large royal gallery. Some of these Disney Princesses meet at Epcot during the day.
While some of the princesses meet here at Magic Kingdom.
Before entering the reception room, you might notice Cinderella’s glass slipper. It sits between the entrances of the two chambers.
Soon, we were escorted into the royal chambers, where the princesses meet with guests. After entering, we joined a small line. A cast member told us to have our autograph books out and ready. She also mentioned that this meet-and-greet didn’t have a Photo Pass photographer, but a photo box would take photos for guests with the Memory Maker.
First, we met with Princess Elena of Avalor. All of the princesses sign autographs before taking photos.
Elena loves animals, but I find her a little difficult to talk to because I have never watched her television series. She is the only Disney Princess without an animated film.
Here is a photo of her autograph.
After Elena, you’ll meet Cinderella.
A beautiful storybook is on display between the two meet-and-greets.
Cinderella is dressed to the nines in her blue ball gown. She enjoys talking about Prince Charming and may ask if you’ve encountered her evil stepsisters.

Except for character dining, this is the only place to meet Cinderella at Walt Disney World. She greets guests at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at Epcot and Cinderella’s Royal Table at Magic Kingdom for dining.

After meeting each princess, there’s a box to scan your MagicBand or ticket for the photos. If you have the Memory Maker, the photos will show up in your account. You can also scan them if you decide to purchase the photos later.
We got in line to meet Cinderella and Elena at 4:11 p.m. on a reasonably busy Sunday afternoon. The posted wait time was 35 minutes. We met the princesses at 4:52 p.m. Overall, we waited approximately 41 minutes, which was a little longer than anticipated.
When exiting, you’ll end up in Sir Mickey’s gift shop next to Princess Fairytale Hall. If you want to meet Tiana and Rapunzel, you’ll have to re-enter on the opposite side. Like Elena and Cinderella, Tiana and Rapunzel meet in the same room. When I returned to the entrance, the wait time had dropped to 25 minutes.
However, the line was completely empty.
We were almost immediately escorted inside their royal chamber. We met with Tiana first.
Tiana enjoys talking about food, cooking, and entrepreneurship. She invited me to return soon or stop at Tiana’s Place anytime for beignets.
All of the characters at Walt Disney World will stay in character when you meet them. So it’s always fun if you know what to discuss with them. But if you don’t, no worries.
Here is Princess Tiana’s autograph.
After talking with Tiana for a few minutes, we met Rapunzel.
When you take her picture, Rapunzel will want to know if you got the nose right. She is very upbeat and friendly.
Here is her autograph.
After waiting to meet Cinderella and Elena, I was concerned about how long the entire meet-and-greet would take. However, things balanced themselves out since we had little to no wait for Tiana and Rapunzel. We invested less than 50 minutes meeting four princesses, which was incredible!
Overall, Princess Fairytale Hall is an excellent location to meet princesses at Walt Disney World. If anyone in your group is interested in meeting princesses, you’ll want to add this meet-and-greet location to your itinerary.
